How Do I Return My Purchase?
Our goal is to ensure you love your jewelry. If it doesn't meet your expectations, we offer a hassle-free return policy. You can return or exchange your jewelry or diamond within 30 calendar days from the date you received it.
You can return a product up to two times within this 30-day period. The second return will either be eligible for 100% store credit or incur a 20% restocking fee. All sales are final after the initial 30 days.
Items Not Eligible for Return:
- Personalized fine jewelry (e.g., Personalized Name Necklaces)
- Diamond upgrades
- Rings or loose diamonds with damaged or lost center diamonds
- Jewelry or rings with chips, scratches, breaks, or nicks
- Jewelry worked on, resized, or repaired by another jeweler (all Shiv Shambu jewelry has microscopic trademark etchings)
- Loose diamonds with a D FL color/clarity quality if the GIA seal is broken
 
Purchase Policy:
Customers are limited to one purchase at a time within 30 days of receiving their order.
Are Returns Free?
Returns are free for US orders and include:
- Free Shipping: Print your return label, repackage items in their original packaging with any diamond certifications, and schedule a FedEx/UPS pick-up or drop-off.
- Free Return Insurance: Our prepaid labels include insurance for the full value of your purchase.
 
Note: Failure to return a diamond certificate will incur a $300 reprinting fee. Third-party appraisal reports are non-refundable. For orders from the UK, Canada, and Australia, return shipping costs are $30, $30, and $40, respectively. Duties and taxes for international orders are the customer’s responsibility and can be recovered from local or federal tax authorities.
 
What Is the Return Process?
Allow Shiv Shambu up to 7 business days to process and inspect returned jewelry. Once we receive your return, you will get a confirmation that your return is being processed. Returns are subject to approval based on the condition of the jewelry. If your purchase included a GIA or IGI certificate, please return it; otherwise, a $300 fee will apply for re-certification. After inspection and approval, your return will be completed, and you will receive a confirmation email with refund details. Refunds will be made via the original payment method and generally take less than 7 business days. All refunds will be in USD, with possible minor discrepancies due to exchange rates.
 
How Do I Cancel My Order?
 
If you need to cancel your order, you can do so within the first 48 hours by emailing support@shivshambu.net with your cancellation reason. After 48 hours, you will need to follow the returns process. Refunds are processed to the original payment method and take up to 5-7 business days. Only one order cancellation is allowed within a 6-month period; any subsequent order within this period is final sale.
